When visiting Yangzhou, don’t miss the China Grand Canal Museum! This ultra-modern cultural museum uses technology to take you through the past and present of the Grand Canal～ 📍Address: No. 1 Yunbo Road, Tangwang Street, Guangling District, Yangzhou City 🕙Opening Hours: Tuesday to Sunday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (last entry at 4:00 PM), closed every Monday! Special dates may vary 💰Tickets: Free!! But you must book in advance (booking opens every night at 7:00 PM) 🌟Key Tips: 1. The most stunning part inside is the suspended ancient boat model exhibition area. The huge real-ship replicas against a blue background are spectacular and definitely the best spot for photos! 2. It’s recommended to reserve 4-5 hours for your visit. The museum covers over 30,000 square meters, with 12 exhibition halls and a sky garden. 3. Remember to rent an audio guide (20 yuan/device), or you’ll miss many fascinating historical details. Check the exhibition layout on page 4!! 👏Important: The service desk inside the museum (visible right at the entrance) offers free luggage storage, while the lockers outside the entrance require payment. 📝Personal Experience: Arrived at 10 AM when it wasn’t crowded! Headed straight to the 3rd-floor exhibition hall to watch the immersive "Rushing River" film, the 8K projection was amazing! Don’t miss the courtyard garden on the 2nd floor, where you can see panoramic views of the canal. Comfortable shoes are recommended as there’s quite a bit of walking between halls～ The museum is located within the Sanwan Scenic Area. After visiting, you can take a stroll along the canal! The nearby 1912 district is perfect for dinner in the evening, with both traditional Yangzhou old-brand restaurants and trendy eateries!
