This guide is all you need! 🍃Things to do (If you have to choose between Dongguan Street and Pishi Street, I recommend Pishi Street for its creative and design-oriented atmosphere.) 1️⃣ Dongguan Street - A foodie's paradise ❶ Cuchadanfan: Lotus root starch balls are a must-try! ❷ Juxiangzhai: Freshly baked Huangqiao sesame cakes, crispy and crumbly ❸ Zhao's Die Tangyuan: Four Happiness glutinous rice balls, so soft and chewy ❹ Yangzhou University Yogurt: The jasmine flavor is amazing 2️⃣ Pishi Street - Where art meets deliciousness ❶ Fushengji Bookstore: A combination of cultural creativity, coffee, and cats ❷ amo.: Instagram-worthy dessert shop, famous for their bayberry ice rice balls ❸ Mogutang: A 13-year-old shaved ice shop ❹ Pishi Street exclusive snacks: Large Youhuo Shaobing: Crispy pastry filled with scallions and oil, 5 yuan each, so good you'll lick your fingers Duanrong Shaobing: Plum blossom cakes with a molten filling, the red bean paste is so hot but you can't resist Choumingsanyuanyang: Crispy and tender stinky tofu, perfect with sweet and sour radish 3️⃣ Other must-see city walk destinations ❶ He Garden: Wear Hanfu and capture the light and shadow of the corridors in the best late Qing Dynasty garden ❷ Slender West Lake: Take a sculling boat and listen to the boatwoman hum a tune (highly recommend sunset time) ❸ Grand Canal Museum: Remember to book at least one week in advance. It took me three trips to Yangzhou to finally get in! (⚠️If you can't get a reservation at the Grand Canal Museum, you can choose the Yangzhou Museum next to the hotel, which requires no reservation and only your ID card.) 🏨 Accommodation 👉 Yangzhou Shangri-La is amazing! Panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Moon Lake, you can watch the sunrise and sunset from your room 🌅 💎 Hidden gems in the hotel: ✔️ Tianzi Barber Shop: Get a shave from an experienced barber (the hot towel facial is so relaxing) ✔️ Lu Qin Foot Care: Foot massage by a non-genetic inheritor (revives you after a long day of walking) ✔️ Michelin-starred Shang Palace Chinese Restaurant: Jasmine orange veal + smoked goose are to die for ✔️ The next morning, head straight to the "Liuyuanchun Tea House" inside the hotel Five-color crab roe soup dumplings that burst with flavor!
