Who Says You Can Only Visit Yangzhou in March?

While it's often said that "the best time to visit Yangzhou is in March," who says that's the only time to go? Yangzhou in winter has its own unique charm, especially with its morning "skin-wrapped water" (Yangzhou-style brunch) and evening "water-wrapped skin" (hot springs). I drove three hours specifically to savor these two iconic experiences, and this time, I stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Yangzhou Sincere Plaza. As the only official Hilton hotel in Yangzhou, the DoubleTree by Hilton Yangzhou Sincere Plaza naturally has its own unique appeal. Here's my review: Excellent Location, Convenient Travel The hotel is located in the heart of Yangzhou, making it an excellent base. Major attractions such as Slender West Lake, Geyuan Garden, and Heyuan Garden are all within 5 km, making transportation very convenient. Additionally, the hotel is in the same building as Sincere Plaza, making it easy to enjoy local cuisine or browse the shops. This location is undoubtedly very convenient for travelers. No Executive Lounge, a Slight Disappointment However, it's worth noting that this DoubleTree by Hilton does not have an executive lounge. This may be a slight disappointment for guests who enjoy a quiet drink and relaxing time in the hotel lounge. However, the hotel offers compensation in the form of two drink vouchers, which can be redeemed for two drinks at the bar. In my personal experience, however, the drinks were average and did not meet expectations. Good Value Rooms, but Limited Upgrades During this stay, I used the Fftp offer combined with my Diamond membership, bringing the cost to less than CNY 400. Since I booked a twin room, I was only upgraded to a Deluxe DoubleTree Twin Room. Other users have mentioned that this hotel is not generous with upgrades, but considering the price, the upgrade was acceptable. Moreover, the overall facilities and service of the room were very good, reflecting the quality and warmth of the Hilton brand. Overall, the DoubleTree by Hilton Yangzhou Sincere Plaza, despite some minor flaws, is still highly recommended and can be a great alternative to the State Guest House. Especially for guests visiting Yangzhou in winter, consider this hotel as your travel base. Here, you can enjoy authentic Yangzhou brunch, relax in the hot springs, and easily explore Yangzhou's major attractions from its central location.
