Shili Gallery + 20 RMB Scenic Spots

I love Yangshuo with all my heart and it’s one of the most beautiful places in China, if you ask me. I live in Guangzhou, so I’m happy to be back there again and again. it’s very peaceful, stunning surroundings, amazing mountains and a lot of fantastic spots. I was short of time last time, so I spent two days in that area. the first day was in Shili Gallery in very beautiful hotel called Xindu Lvju Hotel, just look at that sexy bathtub 🥰 I rented the electric scooter and rode around in the early morning, every corner is a masterpiece. In the daytime I went to Ruyi Peak area which is also definitely worth visiting. The next day I went to Xingpingzhen, went for 20 yuan scenic spots and just walked down for several kilometers. and I couldn’t stop taking photos because every 100 meters there’s something UNBELIEVABLE, seriously. So, if you want to dive into the soft, peaceful and stunning atmosphere, 100% you should go to Yangshuo ❤️ I wish you to have many nice trips and take care of yourselves! #staycation #gooutside #awesomepic #mountains #chinatravel #chinalife

Yangshuo

I've been to Yangshuo several times before but I'd never climbed the TV tower hill until now. It was really worth it! I didn't know exactly where the trail started but I had a good idea of where it should be (you can see the trail snaking up the mountain from the town.) I headed in that direction and found myself in a maze of alleys behind the market. I wasn't sure I'd be able to find my way through these narrow streets and then saw 上山--> painted on a wall. Perfect! I followed a few more of these ad hoc signs and soon found myself at the bottom of stone steps leading out of the village and up the slope. It's a typical Chinese trail: steep and all stairs. It's not a long climb though. At the top there's a compound with the TV towers in it; the old man who lives there will take 5 kuai (WeChat accepted) to come inside and admire the view. I think he also sells drinks. I asked him if he climbs up there every day and he laughed and said no he stays in the house there. What a view to wake up to every morning! You can see how the town of Yangshuo stretches out like the arms of an octopus in between the karst hills, radiating away from the area around 西街 West Street. Definitely recommended if you've got an hour or two to spend and want the best overhead view of Yangshuo. If it's too much climbing for you, go to the hill in People's Park, which is t#awesomepic pped by a small pagoda and overlooks the town centre.

Stunning Heights at Ruyi Peak Cableway Scenic Area 🚡🌄 Get ready for jaw-dropping panoramas as you glide above Yangshuo’s limestone karsts and emerald valleys! Ruyi Peak Cableway delivers the most magical mountain views—perfect for adventure seekers and sunrise chasers. 🌟 Recommended Route: Arrive before 9 am for tranquil trails and misty sunbeams. Start your ascent via the cableway from Peak Ruyi Scenic Spot (Gaotian Town, Yangshuo County, Guilin). The cable ride is smooth, but be ready—there are plenty of steps to climb once you’re up top, so comfortable shoes are a must! 🏞️ Must-Do Experiences: Take your time wandering the summit pathways—the scenery changes with every angle. Pause at the highest platforms for 360° vistas of rolling hills and winding rivers. Don’t forget to catch the breeze at the celebrated “Cloud Bridge,” a glass walkway that seemingly floats above the clouds! 📸 Top Insta-Worthy Photo Spots: Snap the iconic cable car shot against misty mountains, pose on the “Cloud Bridge” with the karst landscape behind you, and capture the sweeping valley views from the main viewing platform. 🔍 Practical Visiting Tips: Peak hours hit after 9 am—so set your alarm early for peaceful views and easy photos. Impression Sanjie Liu (Evening Showtime)

Yangshuo’s Epic River Spectacle: Impression Sanjie Liu 🌟🏞️ Get ready for a mesmerizing night with the Impression Sanjie Liu show—a jaw-dropping fusion of lights, music, and dance performed right on the Li River! This world-famous open-air show transforms the scenery into a stage, making it hands-down the most unforgettable experience in Yangshuo. 🗺️ Recommended Route: Arrive early and stroll along Tianyuan Road to soak in the riverside atmosphere before heading into the Impression Liu Sanjie Theater (China Minjiang Mountain Water Theater, 1 Tianyuan Road, Yangshuo County). The main gates usually open around 7:30 PM, with the show starting at 8:00 PM. 🎶 Must-Do: Grab riverside seating if possible—every angle gives you spectacular views, but center seats offer a full panorama of the illuminated river stage. Don’t miss the iconic “river dancers”—locals performing on floating platforms, intertwined with stunning laser lights. 📸 Top Photo Spots: Snag a shot of the glowing river with the karst mountains in the background before the show starts. During the performance, try to capture the wide view for the breathtaking choreography against the mountain silhouettes. 🚩 Insider Tips: Book tickets online in advance—they sell out fast! Bring a light jacket: the riverside air gets chilly at night. You’ll want to keep your phone/camera ready but don’t flash during the show. Trust me, you’ll be blown away by the sheer scale and artistry—totally worth every penny! ⚠️ Precautions: Arrive 30 minutes early to avoid entrance crowds. Watch your step—the theater is outdoors and stone paths can be slippery after rain. #Yangshuo #ImpressionSanjieLiu #RiverShow #ChinaTravel #UnforgettableNight
