Hiking the Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains

I've been to Guilin many times, but this time I specifically joined my fellow outdoor enthusiasts to hike in Yangshuo. Before reaching the starting point, we discovered that Sunset Hill was nearby. Sunset Hill is known as the best spot to view the "Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains". So, we got off the car and climbed to the summit. The karst landscape unfolded before our eyes—endless mountains shrouded in mist, resembling a grand ink painting, a real-life version of the Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains. After checking off Sunset Hill, we headed to Xianggong Mountain to begin our hike. Route: Xianggong Mountain > Jia Tianxia > Nine Horses Fresco Hill (crossing the river by ferry) > the 20 RMB banknote background > Xingping Ancient Town. The Li River meanders through the landscape, and as we moved forward, the long scroll of green mountains and clear waters gradually unfolded, making us feel as if we were walking within a painting. Unfortunately, we didn't make it to the summit of Xianggong Mountain this time, leaving a bit of regret. We'll come back next time.
