Situ Di of Tianguan Wangfu in Yangcheng, Shanxi

The Situ Residence was built by Wang Dao, Wang Guoguang's cousin, who was a successful candidate in the imperial examination in the Bingwu year of the Jiajing reign of the Ming Dynasty (1546) and rose to the position of Director of the Shaanxi Department of the Ministry of Revenue. The existing main hall, east and west wing-rooms, moon terrace, and front hall, among others, are well-preserved. Inside the courtyard, an ancient winter sweet tree planted during the Ming Dynasty is still preserved. Whenever there is winter fog, its yellow flowers bloom splendidly, and wafts of fragrance can be smelled from dozens of meters away.
