Revolutionary Holy Land, Red Cradle - Baota Mountain.

Baota Mountain is located in the east of Yan'an City, Shaanxi Province, on the bank of the Yan River. It is named Baota Mountain because there is a pagoda on the mountain. It is a part of the Yan'an Revolutionary Memorial Site Tourist Area, a national 5A-level scenic spot that integrates natural and cultural landscapes, historical relics, and revolutionary sites. The pagoda on the top of the mountain was first built in the Tang Dynasty and rebuilt in the Song, Jin, and Ming Dynasties. In 1956, it became the first batch of key cultural relics protection units in Shaanxi Province. It is a symbol of the Chinese revolutionary holy land and a landmark building in Yan'an City. On Baota Mountain, there are cultural relics and historic sites such as Song Dynasty cliff stone carvings, Fan Gong Well, beacon tower, Zhaixing Tower, the former site of the Japanese Workers and Peasants School, Jialing Academy, ancient city walls, ancient city fort sites, and Ming Dynasty iron bells, as well as scenic spots such as ancient and modern celebrity poetry steles and memorial forests.
