(1,000 yen one way) ○About the course ・Total length about 22km (8.5km trolley road, 2.5km mountain path) The trolley road has a slight slope, but it's mostly flat. Many mountain paths are well-maintained, so it's easy to walk. The distance is long, so it may be tough for those who are not used to walking. There were few difficult spots.・Round trip takes about 10 hours ○About clothing👔 It rains a lot on Yakushima, so rainwear is a must. 　A folding umbrella is fine on the trolley road, but rainwear is easier and safer on the mountain trails, as it leaves both hands free. Hiking boots and hiking socks are a good idea. ○About toilets There is one at the entrance and two along the trolley road. There was also a portable toilet booth along the way. The toilets along the way use recycled water, so the smell is strong, and some people may not like it. ○Thoughts It wasn't as bad as I expected. The return trip was easier. It was great to feel the power of nature!!
