#0yentripnovember Locals recommend Meijikan, a traditional Chinese restaurant After 6:30pm Already full and many people waiting! There are about 3 parking spaces, but it was full So we had to circle around the area to wait. I heard that their specialty is Sichuan ramen so I ordered that, gyoza, and fried chicken. The fried chicken was covered in sauce like yulin-ji As you would expect from a traditional, popular restaurant, everything was delicious! All the dishes were very filling I'd like to go with a large group next time and share! At the south exit of JR Yaizu Station, there is a foot bath at "Yaizu Kuroshio Onsen," which is free to use. Kuroshio Onsen contains about half the salt of seawater and is a high-quality hot spring that is said to be good for health and beauty, including for those with a weak constitution. In the middle of the foot bath is a statue of a swordfish. Also, just down the stairs you can see a steam locomotive wheel commemorating the 100th anniversary of the opening of the railway. #Shizuoka

Shichisha Shrine A shrine located at 3-7-1 Omura, Yaizu City, Shizuoka Prefecture, founded in 1528 and rebuilt in 1807, dedicated to Tamatari no Mikoto. It is a 20-minute walk from JR Yaizu Station. Within the grounds, there is a stone monument that describes the history of the shrine, and next to it is a park with playground equipment. #triplucky2022

Koishikawa Park

Koishikawa Park This park is located at 1-9 Sakaemachi, Yaizu City, Shizuoka Prefecture. To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the opening of the railway, a steam locomotive has been exhibited in the park since May 1972. There are flower beds, a plaza, a jungle gym, swings, and more, and the Koishikawa River flows next to the park.
