Anmingshan: Check Out the Super Atmospheric Ladder Ancient Path❗ I'm really obsessed with it❗ In April and May, Mengding Mountain is a great place for hiking🤩 The Ladder Ancient Path is like a green wonderland with a full atmosphere; the jungle crossing allows you to experience treetop walks + ziplining and other courage-testing activities; there is also tea picking and tea making experiences + photo opportunities... You can even get a medal for hiking and checking in👍 📍Location: Mengding Mountain, Ya'an City 🚗Transportation: Less than 2 hrs drive from Chengdu. Take the train to Ya'an High-Speed Rail Station, then take the Panda Bus for CNY 10/person. 🎫Tickets: Single ticket for adults: CNY 52; ticket + one-way cable car + sightseeing bus: CNY 79.9; ticket + tea picking experience: CNY 89.9; ticket + jungle crossing, Line C: CNY 198, Line B: CNY 98) 🗺Hiking Route 1. For those in good physical condition (8 km, approx. 5 hrs) World's No. 1 Teapot (starting point) - Ganlu Temple - Tiangai Temple - Royal Tea Garden - Forest Hiking Trail - Tea Garden - Lingyun Platform - Jingxin Bridge - Ladder Ancient Path - Tea Altar (end point) 2. For families/the elderly (3 hrs) World's No. 1 Teapot - (take the cable car) Tiangai Temple - Royal Tea Garden - Treetop Walk - return along the same route, take the cable car down the mountain - Ladder Ancient Path 🔥Check-in (many check-in spots) ✔️World's No. 1 Teapot: You can take photos holding the teapot or take photos of yourself pretending to hold tea or drink tea. ✔️Jungle Crossing: Experience treetop walks. Those with courage can challenge themselves with ziplining, aerial bicycles, climbing nets, and other activities. ✔️World Tea Culture Museum: Visit and learn about the history of tea culture. Mengding Mountain is the origin of human tea culture~ ✔️Tea Garden Tea Picking: Pick tea at the farmhouse tea garden not far from the big teapot, or pick tea at the scenic tea garden. ✔️Hiking Medals: There are three types: pink camellia single medal, family medal (three medals that can be combined into a panda), and pet medal (very cute). The hiking medal event ends at the end of April~ PS: It is said that someone wanted a pet medal but didn't have a pet, so they bought a live shrimp at a restaurant, haha, I don't know if it's true😂, but there really are people who brought small fish and got a badge. ✔️Cherry Blossoms + Tea Mountain: A large area of cherry blossoms is scattered on the tea mountain opposite the entrance of the Holiday Inn. ✔️Tea Garden: Look at the camellias. The camellias fill the eyes and make for great photos. ✔️Tiangai Temple: Drink gaiwan tea and watch the Dragon Style Eighteen Forms tea art performance. ✔️Ladder Ancient Path: The bluestone steps are covered with green moss, creating a forest-like + atmospheric feel, as if in a secret realm. ✔️Wild Man Interaction: You may encounter "wild men", but most of the time they are nowhere to be found. ✔️Lingyun Platform: Colorful cloud viewing platform with a great view from the top ⚠Other tips 1. Remember to bring hiking poles, as you will be walking for several hours. 2. Bring your own snacks, as there are few supply points.
