Explore the residence atop the clouds! Located 100 kilometers east of Chengdu and 20 kilometers west of Ya'an, Yundian Village in Cheqian Town, Mingshan District of Ya'an City sits atop Yundian Mountain, adjacent to the Zonggang mountain range. From here, you can look north to admire the magnificence of the Qianqiu Xiling, gaze westward at the mysterious Gongga Mountain, and to the east lies the continuous expanse of thousands of acres of tea gardens, while below is the tumbling sea of clouds. Design The architectural design cleverly utilizes its unique location amidst the tea gardens, maintaining transparency and ventilation as much as possible to meet the functional needs of the building. On one side of the site stands a towering 20-meter-tall sycamore tree. Inspired by this, the designers created a series of wide terraces that recede layer by layer around the tree, both protecting the tree and perfectly integrating the building with nature, creating a wonderful scene of harmonious coexistence between architecture and nature. Rooms The guesthouse has 12 rooms with balconies, each offering views of the snow-capped mountains or the sea of clouds. Room 6, in particular, offers a breathtaking view of the sea of clouds at sunrise, with the gentle sunlight and brilliant colors heralding the start of a new day. Dining The dining services provided by the guesthouse are equally impressive. The specialty sour radish roast duck soup is a highlight, with a taste so wonderful it's beyond words. The ducks are raised by the guesthouse owner in the mountains, paired with their own freshly grown vegetables, ensuring the freshness and uniqueness of the ingredients. Experience Here, you can experience the joy of becoming a tea picker, or stick your head out to experience aerial photography under the car's sunroof, or even interact with real tea pickers. Or, you can do nothing at all, just quietly stroll and enjoy the tranquility.
