Join me and Sister Xiang, let's escape to the corners of the mountains and rivers for a short while~🌄 A treasure town located in the Yucheng district of Ya'an - Shangli Ancient Town. ❣️Shangli Ancient Town is located in the northern part of Yucheng district of Ya'an city, and was named a 'Historical and Cultural Town' by Sichuan Province in 1982. It was a transit point for the Red Army's Long March northward and also part of the ancient Southern Silk Road. The town's profound historical and cultural heritage, combined with its unique natural ecological environment, enriches its charm. The town is nestled against mountains and rivers, with pastoral hills and wooden houses as dwellings, still retaining many buildings with the architectural style of stilted houses from the Ming and Qing dynasties. ?On both sides of the ancient street, there are old shops with uneven heights, mainly wooden structures, stone-paved streets, and a strong sense of historical weight. The addition of elements such as green tiles, wooden windows, and carved flowers brings the historical atmosphere of the ancient street to life. ❣️Erxian Bridge, a historical bridge with a history of more than 230 years, is a typical stone arch bridge. The babbling stream flows under the bridge, and the reflections of the trees on both banks can be seen on the water surface, making it a beautiful spot for taking reflection photos. ❣️Inside the ancient town, there is a large courtyard, 'Han Family Courtyard'. The Han family entered Sichuan to serve as officials, and the official residence has a strong atmosphere. The architectural style of the Han Family Courtyard retains the style of Western Sichuan residential buildings, while also incorporating the grandeur of a mansion in the capital.
