The Qianlong Palace in Xuzhou, also known as the Yunlong Mountain Palace, is located at the northern foot of Yunlong Mountain in Xuzhou City. It was originally a temporary place for Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty to eat, rest, and engage in political activities during his southern tour. The Qianlong Palace in Xuzhou was built in the 22nd year of Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty (1757). In that year, Emperor Qianlong went on a southern tour and passed through Xuzhou for the first time. The local officials built this palace for him under Yunlong Mountain. At first, the palace was very large, with the north leaning against the earth mountain, the south reaching the foot of Yunlong Mountain, the east to the imperial bridge, and the west to today's Zhongshan South Road. After the palace was built, Emperor Qianlong was very satisfied.
