Xuzhou's popular tourist spot: Huilongwo

Huilongwo is located south of Hubushan, with Jianguo Road separating the two attractions. It covers an area of about 23,000 square meters. It was featured on CCTV on October 3, 2013, and saw a massive influx of visitors during the seven-day National Day holiday. Now, it is a popular internet-famous spot, gathering Xuzhou's famous eateries, teahouses, and residential houses, along with the city wall ruins exhibition hall. According to Xuzhou records, Huilongwo got its name because the area is low-lying, causing rainwater to backflow and accumulate, making it difficult to drain. It was colloquially known as 'backflow vortex,' and later, the name was phonetically beautified to 'Huilongwo.' Young people dressed in Hanfu come to check in, and the Ming and Qing dynasty-style imitation ancient buildings are quite aesthetically pleasing. The scenic area has several streets with ample space for sightseeing, and it is crowded with visitors both day and night. Transportation is convenient. It is about a 5-minute walk south from Pengcheng Square along Pengcheng Road, or you can take Metro Line 2 and get off at Hubushan Station, then walk to the scenic area.
