Compared to Harbin, I prefer this niche ice and snow secret place

You don’t have to keep an eye on Harbin for winter travel check-in spots. The crowds of tourist attractions are really a bit frustrating😤. A while ago, I visited the Changbai Mountain Demon World and the Rime Island in Jilin, but what really shocked me was the beautiful scenery of the rime on the Kulbin Platform in Yichun! The secret here is that the water released from the Kuerbin Hydropower Station🌊 has created this beautiful ice-free river, and rime can naturally appear in groups. Compared to Jilin, the rime landscape here is even more stunning. The scenery is so mesmerizing, and there are far fewer people. You can almost enjoy this rare tranquility and purity alone, without such a strong commercial atmosphere🤩. It is convenient to go to Kuerbin Platform: 🚗 Self-driving: If you start from Harbin, drive directly there, the scenery is picturesque along the way. 🚉 Railway: Take the train directly to Hongxing Station. The scenery outside the window along the way is breathtaking. ✈️ Plane: Fly to Yichun, then transfer to the bus to Hongxing. After getting off the bus, you can find the bus to Kulbin. Best time to watch rime? Don’t worry, let me tell you: from December to the end of March, remember to get up early in the morning. If you miss noon, you will have to wait until next year, because the rime will slip away during the excitement🏃‍♂️. The starry sky is charming: without that annoying light pollution, on nights when the moon is not round, the Milky Way is yours. Catch the sunrise in Gaoshan Village: The mountain climbing is all worth it, and the B&B boss will help you arrange a chartered car. Volcano Geopark: There isn’t much to see in winter, but in summer the azaleas bloom and it’s so beautiful. When it comes to accommodation, you can choose anywhere in the village. The conditions are almost the same. Food and accommodation are included. The price-performance ratio is very high👍. A few survival tips: 1️⃣ Camera batteries are sensitive to cold, so bring a few more. 2️⃣ It’s warm indoors, but don’t rush to take the camera, let it stay warm too. 3️⃣ Don’t jump around on the ice, be gentle and don’t cause trouble. 4️⃣ The cold is no joke, it’s minus 20 to 30 degrees Celsius, so you have to wrap yourself up tightly.
