Laojieling

Laojieling Scenic Area is located within the territory of Xixia County, Nanyang City, Henan Province. It is the core and essence of the Funiu Mountain World Geopark, a national 5A-level tourist attraction, a national nature reserve, and the dividing line between China's northern and southern climates. It serves as the watershed between the Yangtze River Basin and the Yellow River Basin, and is a comprehensive tourist destination that offers sightseeing experiences, scientific research, leisure vacations, and a summer retreat for health preservation. Laojieling brings together the products of the north and south, and the delicacies of the east and west. Inside the scenic area, there are the Laojieling Summer Resort Restaurant, Feihong Roujiamo Restaurant, 1280 Yunzhong Wenzhai, and 1830 Yunding Coffee. At the foot of the mountain, there are characteristic farmyards, where you can eat Cornus officinalis earth pot chicken, spicy pot fish, and pure natural pollution-free farmhouse dishes, and drink natural mountain spring water from the original forests of Laojieling. From Zhengzhou direction: Zhengzhou→Zhengluan West Expressway→Laojieling exit→Laojieling Scenic Area, the journey takes about three hours. From Luoyang direction: Luoyang→Luoluan West Expressway→Laojieling exit→Laojieling Scenic Area, the journey takes about two hours. From Nanyang direction: Nanyang→Hushan Expressway→Mianxian Expressway→Laojieling exit→Laojieling Scenic Area, the journey takes about two hours.
