Just returned from Qiyun Mountain, and I highly recommend it!

Qiyun Mountain in Anhui Province is one of the four sacred mountains of Taoism. During the Qing Dynasty, it was as famous as Huangshan Mountain and known as the "best mountain in the south of the Yangtze River." It combines Danxia landforms, cliff carvings, Taoist culture, and beautiful mountain scenery. Even the famous traveler Xu Xiake visited twice. We set off from downtown Huangshan City and took a taxi 🚗 to Qiyun Mountain. Arriving at the foot of the mountain, we looked up to see towering peaks and swirling clouds, as if we had entered a fairyland. The scenic area has three loop routes: large, medium, and small. Choose one based on your fitness level and plan ahead. As you ascend the steps, each step falls at the intersection of history and nature. The ancient buildings, stone carvings, and inscriptions on the mountain all tell the story of Qiyun Mountain's history and culture. In the morning, the mountain is shrouded in mist, and the "fairy villages" perched on the cliffs create a stunning combination of nature and human artistry. It's quiet and uncrowded, perfect for a relaxing getaway! ✅ Yuehua Cable Car: Enjoy mountain views as you glide through a sea of clouds. ✅ Cliff Carvings: Ancient greetings etched on the Danxia cliffs. ✅ Zhenxian Cave: Capture photos of the "Tiankai Shenxiu" inscription. ✅ Yuehua Street: Photograph the Tianguan Mansion, Langmei Garden, and Hui-style architecture built on the cliffs. ✅ Incense Burner Peak: One of the iconic attractions, shaped like an incense burner. ✅ Taisu Palace: The largest Taoist temple on Qiyun Mountain, with magnificent architecture. It houses numerous Taoist statues and is an important place of worship for Taoist believers. ✅ Hengjiang River Bamboo Raft: Embark on a magical journey. ⛰: Qiyun Mountain 📍: Qiyunshan Town, Xiuning County, Huangshan City, Anhui Province 🚄: Take the high-speed train to Huangshan North Railway Station or Yixian East Railway Station. There are direct buses, or a 30-min taxi ride.
