Lunar New Year Road Trip from Shanghai: Qiyun Mountain, Colorful Clouds, and Dragon Boat Racing

This year, our family of three decided to go on a road trip for the Lunar New Year. We chose a route from Shanghai to Anhui, Jiangxi, and Zhejiang, and then back to Shanghai. Our first stop was Huangshan City in Anhui Province, where our child was able to experience the festive atmosphere of the New Year. Qiyun Mountain in Anhui is a seriously underrated treasure. Standing on Dengfeng Bridge, you can look down at the Hengjiang River, where golden dragons are flying and bamboo rafts are leisurely passing by. As night falls, the Baiyue Fireworks Show begins. Colorful fireworks bloom in the night sky, and everyone looks up and marvels at the sight. Although we stood and waited for more than an hour, the iron flower and colorful cloud fireworks were really worth it. And all of this is free for tourists to watch. This year's fireworks show was very sincere. Layers of fireworks bloomed in the night sky, and the light and shadow intertwined with the night view of Qiyun Mountain, creating a breathtaking beauty. This visual feast was worth the trip.
