Nalati Grassland in Xinyuan County, Xinjiang

The Nalati Tourist Scenic Area is located within the territory of Xinyuan County in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, situated in the hinterland of the Tianshan Mountains, at the eastern end of the Ili River Valley. From south to north, the scenic area is composed of a high mountain grassland sightseeing zone, a Kazakh folk customs zone, and a tourism living area. The Nalati Tourist Scenic Area encompasses grasslands, valleys, and forests, with a high vegetation coverage and rich wildlife resources. Due to its unique natural ecological landscape and cultural landscape, it is known as the 'Green Island of Tianshan,' 'Green Homeland,' and 'Colorful Grassland.' The main attractions include Tianjie Terrace, Nomadic Homes, Tawusani (Kazakh for 'beautiful valley'), Tianxian Terrace, Woltajiaota Viewing Platform, and Snow Lotus Valley, among others. Cattle, sheep, and horses graze leisurely on the slopes of the valley grasslands, presenting a picturesque view of a green carpet stretching out before the eyes.
