💝With a sincere heart, I embarked on a journey to Kumbum Monastery in Xining, hoping to find solace and tranquility in this mysterious land. 💝As the outline of Kumbum Monastery came into view, a solemn and majestic atmosphere enveloped me. In the square in front of the monastery, devotees either prayed devoutly with their hands clasped or prostrated themselves on the ground. The determination and reverence in their eyes moved me deeply. 💝Upon entering Kumbum Monastery, I was struck by its unique architectural style. The red walls, golden tiles, and flying eaves and brackets combine the grandeur of Tibetan architecture with the intricacy of Han architecture. 💝The Grand Golden Roof Hall, known as the "heart" of Kumbum Monastery, is magnificent and dazzling. Inside the hall is the monastery's treasure: the Bodhi tree marking the birthplace of Tsongkhapa. 💝Kumbum Monastery is renowned for its exquisite butter sculptures. In the Butter Sculpture Museum, I marveled at the lifelike sculptures of people, animals, flowers, and buildings. These masterpieces are crafted by monks using butter as the raw material during the cold winter months. 💝Kumbum Monastery is not only a Buddhist sanctuary but also a temple of art and a spiritual cleansing.
