|||Day 1: We drove from Wumeng Grassland. How to spend five days and four nights in Xingyi|||Day 1️⃣: We drove from Wumeng Grassland, which took about 3 hours. We checked into Fenglin Yue Mountain Hotel (highly recommended, five stars). This is the only hotel we stayed for two consecutive days during this trip. The location is excellent, close to all attractions, and the hotel facilities and services are great (see photos 12). Day 2️⃣: Yubulu Tiankeng (🌟🌟🌟 recommended) can be skipped if time is tight. Maling River Canyon (🌟🌟🌟🌟 recommended) is highly recommended for its stunning Sky Mirror photo spot (20 yuan) (see photo 1). In the evening, we visited Fenglin Buyi (🌟🌟🌟🌟 recommended), a great spot for ethnic style photos (I took mine at Wanfenglin). Day 3️⃣: Wanfenglin Scenic Area. In the morning, you can take a sightseeing bus tour (highly recommended, five stars) to enjoy the breathtaking view of the rice fields from the mountain top. In the afternoon, you can rent a car for a deeper exploration of the area, which is truly mesmerizing (you can also experience tie-dyeing, rice field fishing, and check-in at popular cafes). We didn't stay in the scenic area and checked into Mushroom Hotel in the evening (note ⚠️ Mushroom Hotel is about 10 kilometers away from Wanfenglin, not within the scenic area). Day 4️⃣: Relax at the hotel. After breakfast, we arranged swimming for the kids. The hotel is beautiful and highly recommended for family trips (children's playground charges separately, which we didn't use). In the afternoon, we had a photo shoot at Wanfenglin (taking photos, relaxing at cafes). We didn't visit Yuhuangding this time, which is a bit regretful. In the evening, we checked into Yuntun Wild Luxury Hotel (highly recommended for family trips). Day 5️⃣: This place is perfect for doing nothing and relaxing. In the afternoon, we checked out the nearby sports park (jungle crossing, CS battle, archery, non-powered amusement park).
