Liu Yuxi Park is located at the southwest corner of the intersection of Jianshe West Road and Qiyuan Road in Xingyang City, Henan Province, covering an area of ​​180,000 square meters. It is adjacent to the Chess Square and the Three Dukes Statues, and is just a stone's throw away from the Botanical Garden and the Municipal Gymnasium. It is the first cultural theme park in Xingyang City. The park is based on the tomb of Liu Yuxi, a great poet of the Tang Dynasty, with the theme of Liu Yuxi's poetry culture, and fully integrates the traditional Chinese garden landscape art. Liu Yuxi was an outstanding poet, essayist, philosopher and politician in the middle period of the Tang Dynasty. He was praised as a "poet hero" by Bai Juyi, and the widely circulated "Praise of the Humble House" was written by him. In the park there are a statue of Liu Yuxi, his tomb, inscriptions, a memorial hall, three humble rooms, 12 memorial archways and five pavilions. There are streams and lakes on both sides, and rocks and pavilions dotted in between. Surrounded by green trees and lush grass, walking among them is like returning to the Tang Dynasty and having a spiritual encounter with the owner of the humble room.
