Bawang Mountain is located in Bowang Village, Bawang Mountain Town, Xingwen County, Yibin City. It is a 1-hour drive from Yibin West Station (via the expressway). It is one of the most important places for the ancient Bo people to live and thrive. It is a national 4A-level tourist attraction and a provincial-level ecological tourism demonstration area. The scenic area covers a total area of about 53 square kilometers, with the main peak, Heimaoding, at an altitude of 1,180 meters. It is a karst mountain ecological natural scenic tourist area. The main attractions are divided into three areas: Feiwugu, Heimaoding, and Daodong. The area is densely vegetated, with five streams that flow year-round and 68 waterfalls of various shapes and sizes.
