Xinchang Museum

On the way to the Great Buddha Temple, I took a detour to the Xinchang Museum, where there weren't many people as it's just a county museum. The first floor features a regular exhibition of Xinchang's history, the Eastern Zhejiang Poetry Trail, and the Tang Poetry Road. Many renowned poets such as Li Bai, Du Fu, and Xie Lingyun, whether exiled, on a heroic journey, or on an official visit, have left their poems in Eastern Zhejiang. The jade artifacts and bronze mirrors unearthed from the Ming and Qing dynasties are exquisitely crafted. Xinchang's Gushan Academy also produced many scholars and advanced scholars, with three of them reaching the position of Minister. The second floor is for special exhibitions.
