Jingziguan Town, Zichuan, Henan | At the junction of Hubei, Henan, and Shaanxi provinces, an important port on the Danjiang waterway

Jingziguan Town is located at the junction of Henan, Hubei, and Shaanxi provinces, with the Danjiang River running through it. Established in the Tang Dynasty and flourished in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it has always been a strategic location for military strategists, and was known as the 'Barrier of Henan'. In the middle of the Tang Dynasty, when the capital Chang'an was prosperous, many materials from the south had to be transported to Chang'an through the Danjiang channel. At that time, the Jingziguan river port had developed into three parts: upper, middle, and lower, with hundreds of boats moored. In the middle and late Qing Dynasty, Jingziguan became a distribution center for goods within a hundred miles, and was a major commercial town at the junction of Henan, Hubei, and Shaanxi provinces. Merchants from all over the north and south gathered here, forming three major companies, eight guilds, thirteen mule and horse shops, and twenty-four large trading firms. The Qing Dynasty street, which is 5 li long, has more than 700 Ming and Qing buildings scattered in an orderly manner, with an ancient charm; the stilted buildings built along the Danjiang River have a southern charm; the large-scale Shanxi and Shaanxi guild halls, Pinglang Palace and other ancient architectural groups show people the glory of the past. Pinglang Street and Pinglang Palace are located on the east side of the south street inside the gate, built in the early Qing Dynasty, and have been repeatedly repaired, named to imply 'calm and peaceful'. Shanxi and Shaanxi Guild Hall: Located on Zhong Street, it was built in the Ming Dynasty and rebuilt in the Qing Dynasty, and was a gathering place for wealthy businessmen from Shanxi and Shaanxi provinces. The mottled walls and old buildings silently witness many stories we don't know. Many people have walked on this road under our feet, and those people have long been submerged in the vast history. In a nearby alley, there is a triangular pavilion, under which stands a small granite stele. The stele is triangular, with the characters 'Hubei', 'Henan', and 'Shaanxi' marked on the three sides. The three sides of the pavilion are written with 'Shaanxi', 'Henan', and 'Hubei', meaning that the three provinces intersect here.
