Autumn in Western Sichuan

The only regret about Western Sichuan is that my phone camera has too low resolution! This is the Siguniang Mountain Shuangqiao Valley route. We set off from Chengdu at 6 a.m. and encountered a sea of clouds on the mountain road, which was very dreamy! After 10:30, we arrived at the scenic area entrance. Because we took a break to use the restroom along the way, after ticket inspection, we queued to take the shuttle bus to the mountain top. Siguniang Mountain has many spots to check in. If you want to take selfies or photos of each other, it takes about a whole day to finish the tour! Since the first stop is the mountain top at over 3,800 meters elevation, older people are prone to altitude sickness. My two friends and I had no problems and didn’t buy oxygen tanks or medicine. It depends on individual constitution. After taking photos, we took the shuttle bus to the next spot, Budala Peak, which is incredibly beautiful and stunning. No matter how you pose, it looks great. Highly recommended!! Next down is the rafting station, which I didn’t like much, so I didn’t participate and went directly to the next stop. Longzhu Cuo, Yinpu Yongcuo, and the last scenic spot are all very photogenic. These are highly recommended! Of course, there are many food options at the first stop on the mountain top, but some are not very fresh. People with sensitive stomachs should be cautious and definitely bring snacks!!! There are many food choices at Yinpu Yongcuo! Another key point is that the lower you go, the less sunlight there is, so don’t go too late to take photos at the foot of the mountain.
