Tongjiang Academy is located between Shanxia Village and Banqiao Village in Batan Township, Xianju County. It overlooks Yong'an Creek to the north, the willows of Jianhu Lake to the east, and Daoyuan Mountain, Mian Mountain and Chi Mountain to the southwest. "Three small mountains stand in front of it like a tripod." The environment is quiet and peaceful. Once upon a time, this was a literary treasure land where scholars from all over the world flocked to, and Zhu Xi, a Neo-Confucian philosopher of the Southern Song Dynasty, also gave lectures here. Today, Tongjiang Academy faces the mountain and is beside the stream. It has the poetic and picturesque scenery of Jiangnan and is full of ancient charm. It is a good place to appreciate the charm of Jiangnan. Tongjiang Academy and Pantan Ancient Town will offer free admission to the Asian Games until the end of June 2024.
