Getaway to Xiamen

Tired of fast city pace? Xiamen is amazing option for runaway for couple of days. To reset yourself on amazing beaches, enjoy slow pace city, wonderful people and delicious food :). Coming to Xiamen by train or plane is fairly easy. City is well connected with metro and buses. Victorian style buildings and their history makes this small island very attractive location. Coming to this island is also fairly easy. Take a ferry boat from Xiamen Youlun Wharf office. Return ticket is 60ish Rmb depending on the time of departure. -Hulishan fortress is also popular historical site. Concrete defensive outpost of Xiamen island, with enormous Krupp cannon is also worth vising. -Xiamen university, Botanical garden, Sunlight rock, Aotou village are also worth exploring.
