Day 1: Leisurely stroll along the island-side beaches of Xiamen. Day 2: Explore Cat Street and visit the prestigious Xiamen University. Day 3: Discover the Nanputuo Temple, followed by a scenic hike up the mountain beside it. Day 4: Take a day trip to the charming Gulangyu Island. Great eateries all around Xiamen. Tasty seafood. Try street food at the Zhongshan street. Feels like a labyrinth full of different food. If you're on a low budget there's a great variety of hostels, yet there are lots of luxury places to stay as well.
