Zhen Dewang | A casual dining spot with dishes averaging $80+, perfect for Chinese food lovers

If you have a craving for authentic Chinese stir-fry dishes with that signature wok aroma, Zhen Dewang is the place to be. Located on the first floor of Bay Yuecheng in Xiamen, right next to Gate 5, the restaurant is easy to find and conveniently accessible by public transport. Having been open for over half a year, it has gained some popularity recently, so I decided to give it a try. The restaurant is quite spacious with plenty of seating. Upon entering, you'll find a display of fresh ingredients and sample dishes on the right, reminiscent of a street food stall. The menu highlights seasonal favorites and recommended dishes. Service is quick, and we ordered several dishes. Most of them were delicious and paired well with rice, though the portions were not very large. Highly recommended dishes include Stir-fried Pork Intestines with Pickled Vegetables, Spicy Boiled Beef, and Farmer's Style Frog. They were all fresh and flavorful. The Ginger Fried Pork Ribs were also delightful, crispy, and aromatic. The prices are quite reasonable, and we opted for a set meal.
