I checked the sunset time on the weather forecast app in advance and headed to Gangzaihou Beach, a perfect spot for sunset viewing, around 4 p.m. Many people were already on the beach, eagerly anticipating the sunset. The sky was a clear azure, and the seawater gently rippled in the breeze, sparkling. The rocks on the beach were outlined by the sunlight, and the palm trees swayed in the wind, as if whispering farewell to the setting sun. As time passed, the sun gradually slanted westward, and its initially bright, dazzling light softened, as if veiled. The horizon slowly turned orange-red, like a painter's spilled palette, with colors flowing freely. The clouds were also dyed in brilliant hues, some as fiery as flames, others as soft as silk. Around 5:30 p.m., the sun began to approach the sea level, painting the entire sky golden-red and transforming the sea into a captivating orange sea with shimmering waves. The boats sailing on the sea became black silhouettes against this dreamy backdrop, creating a particularly evocative scene. The sun sank lower and lower, finally disappearing into the sea, leaving behind a lingering glow that immersed the world in a warm atmosphere. Watching this stunning sunset, I couldn't help but marvel at the wonders of nature. The sunset at Gulangyu Island is a visual feast and a healing experience for the soul.
