Xiamen Trip Review Recently, I had the pleasure of visiting Xiamen, a beautiful coastal city. Here is my honest review and detailed record of this trip. 1. Overview I spent two days in Xiamen, immersing myself in the island's charm and vibrant atmosphere. I was captivated by its unique allure. In January, Xiamen's climate is pleasant, with gentle sea breezes adding to the comfort of my trip. 2. Transportation Xiamen has convenient transportation. From the airport or train station, you can easily reach every corner of the city. The subway and bus networks are well-developed, making it easy to visit major attractions. Additionally, taking a ferry to Gulangyu Island is a must. You can book ferry tickets in advance on the official WeChat account. 3. Itinerary On the first day, I visited Gulangyu Island and Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street. The exotic architecture of Gulangyu Island, the spectacular views of Sunlight Rock, and the seaside strolls left me in awe. On Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, I admired the arcade night view and tasted Xiamen's delicacies, such as satay noodles and jellyfish, experiencing the city's prosperity. On the second day, I visited Xiamen University (though temporarily closed, it was still worth looking forward to), Nanputuo Temple, Zengcuo'an, and Huandao Road. At Xiamen University, I felt the youthful energy of the campus. At Nanputuo Temple, I listened to Buddhist chants and prayed for my family. At Zengcuo'an, I tasted various delicacies. On Huandao Road, I rode a bicycle, enjoying the sea view and the embrace of the sea breeze, feeling very relaxed. 4. Must-visit Attractions Gulangyu Island and Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street are must-visit attractions. The diverse architectural styles of Gulangyu Island make you feel like you're in a European town. The arcade buildings on Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street are unique, with bright lights and a variety of food at night. Additionally, Xiamen University, Nanputuo Temple, Zengcuo'an, and Huandao Road are also unmissable attractions. Overall, this trip to Xiamen allowed me to experience the city's unique charm and endless allure. I hope to have the opportunity to visit this beautiful coastal city again in the future.
