Gulangyu Lijiazhuang Hotel

🌟Lijiazhuang is the property of Mr. Li Qingquan, a Chinese overseas in the Philippines. He took over his father's sawmill at the age of 18 and became the "Nanyang Timber King". In the early 20th century, when he returned to China to participate in the hometown rescue movement, he purchased land on Zhangzhou Road in Gulangyu to build a villa named "Lijiazhuang" for his father to enjoy his old age. It was later rebuilt by the hotel team and became the current Lijiazhuang Hotel. 🌟The hotel has a total of 14 rooms and 1 restaurant. The hotel rooms are not big, and the door locks are opened with keys. The decoration style is inspired by the Republic of China era, with wood as the main material and stone as the auxiliary material. The room has many details, including BOSE speakers at the bedside, LELABO bath products, and free Evian drinking water. My personal favorite is the linen slippers, which are very comfortable to wear. 🌟The hotel provides free breakfast and afternoon tea. The breakfast is light and tastes good. 🌟There are no cars in the entire Gulangyu Island. You have to either pull your luggage from the pier to the hotel by yourself or rely on a deliveryman. The hotel provides free delivery on the way there, and you can book the return delivery at the front desk. It costs 30 yuan per suitcase and it will be delivered directly to the pier, which is very convenient.
