07|Freshman Year|Xi'an x Pingyao x Luoyang x Hukou|A Millennium's Sigh

· A travel record right after the college entrance exam 🛤️! Finally, finally, finally went to Xi'an 🏙️! Five days of walking non-stop with friends in 37-degree weather, exhausting but worth it! · Longmen Grottoes was the 1️⃣st stop — Yique Buddha Light, incredibly stunning. I visited every grotto, and my favorite were the damaged Buddha statues; though incomplete, their spirit remains intact, their expression profound. Through these damaged statues, I could truly touch the heartbeat of history from a thousand years ago, which is the true value of historical sites. · Xi'an History Museum was the 2️⃣nd stop — a millennium in a moment, all contained within. An exploration full of surprises in every sense! I did a lot of planning on the way, expecting huge crowds, but the timing perfectly avoided the masses, and it was pleasantly uncrowded, allowing for a great visit! (˃ ⌑ ˂ഃ ) · Longmen Grottoes was the 3️⃣rd stop — the Milky Way pouring down, the earth’s axis roaring. A breathtaking waterfall, with a dense fine mist up close (quite refreshing ˃ʍ˂). Actually took a lot of live shots, but upon reflection, they all looked quite similar (?), so I only posted one, along with a small rainbow 🌈— good luck to those who see it (*´I`*) · Finally, a candid shot of a forest taken from the car, very blurry with a vintage feel wwwwwww · This is Agnes!
