Xi'an's spring is welcoming me with flowers blooming throughout the city. In the park on both sides of the ancient pagoda, pink cherry blossoms intertwine with emerald green willows, while young women in Hanfu costumes walk across curved bridges with oil-paper umbrellas. Best of all, the Xi'an Museum is hidden deep within the scenic area, making for a worthwhile cultural experience. ⭐️ Panoramic Views from Above From the restaurant on the hotel's 51st floor, through floor-to-ceiling windows, the entire Small Wild Goose Pagoda complex spreads out below like a miniature landscape. You can enjoy Chang'an's magnificent views while dining in this cloud-level restaurant. I recommend coming at dusk to watch the sunset gild the ancient pagoda, observe the lights of the Grand Tang Mall gradually illuminate, and see the bustling activity at Daxingshan Temple. Remember to bring a telephoto lens: you can capture magical moments of the Small Wild Goose Pagoda framed against the modern city—your social media grid simply can't contain such grandeur. These views transform the 51st-floor restaurant into an excellent vantage point for enjoying panoramic scenery, giving you something of a god's-eye perspective. ⭐️ Xi'an Food and Snack Collection At the buffet restaurant on the first floor, I initially planned to just sample a few dishes, but was drawn in by the "Xi'an snack collection": freshly baked Tongguan meat sandwiches that crumble deliciously, hand-pulled oil-splashed noodles made by the chef, sweet rice cakes in jars, spicy Shaanxi cold noodles, hot and spicy soup, and more. It's truly a food lover's paradise where you can taste over 10 different Xi'an snacks. The hotel's Chinese restaurant private rooms have also been upgraded with a more youthful and modern aesthetic, making them an excellent choice for dinner. Useful Tips: The Small Wild Goose Pagoda scenic area is free but requires reservation; 7:30-9:00 AM has the fewest visitors. Anren Fang Ruins Exhibition Hall is closed on Mondays; plan to visit on other mornings. Waking up in this city with a 1,300-year-old Small Wild Goose Pagoda outside your window; as night falls, it transforms into a gentle bedside lamp. Xi'an Crowne Plaza Hotel is within 3 kilometers of the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, Shaanxi History Museum, and the Grand Tang Mall—a minimum fare taxi ride takes you through the glorious Tang Dynasty. As the taxi driver said, this is truly the "divinely chosen location" in Chang'an.
