How did this hidden gem of a park in Xi'an go undiscovered for so long?

Fangzhi Park, I have lived in Xi'an for decades and this is my first time visiting. The park is not big, it is like a smaller version of Xingqing Park in the 1980s. There is also an elephant slide inside. Next to the elephant slide is the place where the first photo was taken. The space for taking photos is limited, so if you want to take beautiful photos, it is recommended to come early. When I went there at noon, there was already a line. Transportation: Take Metro Line 6 to Fang'er Road, Exit B, and walk south for about 500 meters. The park's east gate is in the alley next to Dongcheng No. 2 Kindergarten (there is a map in photo 11).
