Huajuexiang Great Mosque

The Huajuexiang Great Mosque in Xi'an is named for its larger scale compared to other mosques in Xi'an, and it is located inside the Huajuexiang alley, west side of the Drum Tower in the city of Xi'an. The entire temple complex is majestic, with a serene environment and grand scale. It is one of the most completely preserved Islamic mosques in China and is also a national key cultural relics protection unit. The courtyard layout of the Great Mosque is unique among Chinese mosques - its architectural form and tone are of a distinct Chinese national style, while everything inside the courtyard is arranged strictly according to Islamic doctrine. The traditional Chinese architectural style and Islamic architectural art style are harmoniously combined here.
