||Both Xi'an Grand Hyatt and Hyatt Centric are located in the High-tech Zone (there are quite a few hotels in the High-tech Zone, including but not limited to Ritz-Carlton, JW)😀 Comparing these two hotels, from a brand perspective, Centric might be at a slight disadvantage, but there are only three Centric hotels in China (Ningbo-Xi'an-Shanghai, in order of opening), which could be an interesting brand experience to explore🤑 Additionally, all three Hyatt-affiliated hotels in Xi'an (excluding Ur Cove) are Category 2 for points redemption, with the same price for points exchange, but different values🤐 【Grand Hyatt】P1-P9 The hotel is new, with good facilities, large rooms, nice lounge food, and great service. The bedding is very skin-friendly, and the sleep experience is comfortable. Stayed for five nights, and a suite was arranged a few days in advance, plus a bottle of red wine was gifted🍷 The base room rate is about 💰900+ per night, which is a great value for money. (It is said that the owner has gone bankrupt?) The only downside is that there are buildings under construction outside, which can be a bit noisy.💔 As for the hotel's location, it's subjective. If the hotel were in the location of Hyatt Regency in Qujiang, the price would probably have doubled. Actually, if you don't consider traffic jams, taking a taxi in Xi'an is very cheap. The base room rate is about 💰550+, and you can get a deluxe suite for about 💰1300+. The deluxe room is a corner room, quite spacious, with a large bathroom and a reasonable layout.🏡 The breakfast options are a bit limited, and the taste is average🍳 There is no lounge, but Globalist members get a daily cocktail from the lobby bar🍹 The second floor is entirely a gym🏋️, but unfortunately, there is no swimming pool🏊 The welcome gift includes a fan with 'Xi'an' on it and a Centric pin, which was a nice surprise👍 Another detail that might be a downside for 【some people】: there is a Shell gas station right across the hotel⛽️ 【Conclusion】 Both hotels offer good value for money.
