Abbreviated as "Eight Immortals Palace", formerly known as "Eight Immortals Temple", it is the most complete, largest and most famous Taoist temple in Xi'an. It is the seat of the Shaanxi Provincial Taoist Association and a national key Taoist temple. The construction date is unknown. Empress Dowager Cixi in Xi'an in the 26th year of Emperor Guangxu's reign (1900) When they were seeking refuge, they appropriated funds to renovate the Eight Immortals Temple and granted the temple the name "Edicted to Build the Wanshou Eight Immortals Palace". It covers an area of ​​more than 73,000 square meters. The existing buildings are mainly in the style of Ming and Qing Dynasties. It is divided into three parts from the mountain gate to the back hall. The bell and drum floors are on the left and right, and there are two cross courtyards in the east and west. The central axis consists of the Lingguan Hall, the Eight Immortals Hall, and the Doumu Hall; the east wing consists of the Lu Zu Hall, the Yaowang Hall, and the Taibai Hall; the west wing consists of the Qiu Zu Hall and the abbot's residence. ☯️
