The Terracotta Army

Witness the vast army of the first Emperor of China - Qin Shi Huang! Said to have been buried with the Emperor as far back as 221 - 207 BC, this impressive collection of terracotta sculptures is amazing to see in person. Discovered by local farmers in 1974, this is now an incredible wonder of the world that has become a must-visit for those visiting Xi'an and China. You'll need to set aside a good few hours to make the most of your visit and see as much as possible, because the complex is pretty huge. 1. The Museum of Qin Terracotta Warriors and Horses: This is where you will find the three main pits and the largest excavation site pit filled with the terracotta warriors standing to attention. 2. Qin Shi Huang's Mausoleum Site: which includes the burial mound of Qin Shi Huang Mausoleum. Find it: Lintong, 40km northeast of Xi'an, China #momentsmission
