Qilou City of China Free admission. The "upstairs and downstairs" street-side buildings combine traditional Chinese and European classical architectural styles. This historical and cultural district has well-preserved Qilou buildings that combine Lingnan and Western architectural aesthetics, creating an exotic atmosphere. Unfortunately, the buildings are under renovation, so you can't go inside. 2. Dongzheng Road Free admission. You can take photos with the "I Wuzhou" sign and Liubao tea. Stroll around and enjoy the comfort and leisure. 3. Zhongshan Park Free admission. The park is home to the Zhongshan Memorial Hall. In Wuzhou, this is probably the most significant place left by Sun Yat-sen. The first thing you'll see in Zhongshan Park in the Hedong District is a statue of Sun Yat-sen, with the words "The World Belongs to the People" engraved behind it. 4. Ming Dynasty Governor's Mansion of Liangguang Daytime opening hours: 9:00–17:00; Nighttime: 17:30–23:30. Free admission. No reservation required. The mansion was built recently, and most of the buildings are replicas of ancient architecture. It's a great place to take photos in traditional Chinese clothing. 5. Longmu Temple Admission: ¥28 (Free for locals and students with a student ID). The mountain is very high, so we recommend wearing comfortable clothes. At the top of the mountain, there is a huge statue of Longmu. You can buy a prayer ribbon for ¥10. 6. Baiyun Mountain This is a landmark park in Wuzhou. Free admission. The sightseeing bus to the top of the mountain costs ¥22 (one-way: ¥12). The bus to Si'en Temple costs ¥11 (one-way: ¥6). You can see the iconic Mingzhu Tower on the mountain, which looks like a large diamond ring. If you want to get up close, you need to buy an additional ticket for ¥30. We recommend visiting in the evening to enjoy the beautiful sunset. Please note that entry is not allowed after 18:00. Food: Wuzhou is full of delicious food. It is the birthplace of Guilinggao (herbal jelly), which costs just a few yuan per bowl. You can add various toppings. The streets are filled with the aroma of herbal tea and Guilinggao (we recommend Wufutang's Guilinggao, which is bitter and authentic). Paper-wrapped chicken is a must-try in Wuzhou. The traditional Yuko paper-wrapped chicken is deep-fried and has a unique flavor. If you have a sweet tooth, you can also try Bingquan Soy Milk (which has a slightly burnt taste) and Lingyin.
