The vibrant sea of rapeseed flowers stretched endlessly across terraced fields, their golden yellow glowing softly against the damp earth, while delicate fog curled around the iconic Huizhou-style architecture,white-walled homes with black-tiled roofs, their ornate carvings and horse-head gables peeking through the haze. The rain had deepened the colors of the landscape, making the green hills, blooming flowers, and ancient villages feel almost surreal. Walking along narrow stone paths, we passed farmers tending to their fields and wooden bridges arching over crystal-clear streams, each turn revealing another postcard-perfect view.
