Huangling Scenic Area, also known as Wuyuan Huangling Tourism Resort, is located in the Shier Mountain Range, 7 km southeast of Jiangwan Town, Wuyuan County, Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province. It covers an area of 5 square kilometers and opened for trial operation in 2014. It is 39 km from Wuyuan County, 9 km from Jiangwan Expressway Exit, and about 80 km from Jingdezhen Airport and Huangshan Airport. Huangling Village was built in the mid-Ming Dynasty and has a history of over 500 years. The terraced fields of Huangling are lush and green, and the village is surrounded by clouds, earning it the nickname "Terraced Cloud Village." Huangling is a typical mountain village, with houses arranged in a fan-shaped terraced pattern around the water mouth. The scenic area is composed of several tourist areas, including a cableway for aerial sightseeing, an ancient village street for exploring, terraced fields for flower viewing, and rural customs and folk activities for experiencing. The ancient village of Huangling is located halfway up the mountain, with white walls and black tiles arranged in an orderly manner, resembling a fairytale town suspended in mid-air. The terraced fields are layered and change colors with the seasons, with the most spectacular view in spring when the village is hidden in a sea of golden rapeseed flowers, creating a breathtakingly beautiful scene. Walking through the ancient village, every corner is a scenic spot, and every step is a painting. The deep alleys, ancient stone bridges, every window lattice, and every piece of moss carry the weight of history and the gentleness of time. At night, smoke rises from the chimneys, and the dim lights in every household create a peaceful and lively atmosphere.
