Kunming, Mayuan Migui Alley, a photogenic spot that needs no filter~

Kunming Mayuan Train Station (formerly known as Kunming West Station), which has ceased operations, was once part of the Burma Railway, constructed during the early period of the Anti-Japanese War. Construction started in December 1938 and was halted in 1942 due to the loss of Western Yunnan. The 'meter-gauge' we walked on today refers to the narrow-gauge railway that is 1 meter wide, originating from French railway standards. Regions that still use meter-gauge include France, Yunnan in China, Vietnam, etc. This place is about to be transformed into a meter-gauge park, with yellow walls and green windows, still retaining the architectural style of Southeast Asia. The paint on the freshly painted yellow walls is not yet completely dry, so those who plan to visit for photoshoots soon, please be careful not to lean against the walls! Looking forward to the meter-gauge park being completed soon, to revive the memories of old Kunming. Transportation: Accessible by several bus routes, get off at Mayuan Station, and you'll find Migui Alley about 300 meters ahead. It is recommended to take public transport or a taxi, as Migui Alley is quite narrow and not suitable for parking. Admission: Open all day for free. The effect is also good for taking photos on cloudy days, but on sunny days, the saturation might be too high due to the new yellow walls.
