Wuhu Ancient City

Wuhu Ancient City is located in Jinghu District, Wuhu City, Anhui Province, at the confluence of the Yangtze River and the Qingyi River, to the east of the Yangtze River and north of the Qingyi River. In 109 BC, Wuhu County was established, marking the initial appearance of the 'Wuhu Ancient City'. It was repeatedly destroyed by war and rebuilt on the original site during the Ming and Qing dynasties. After four years of closure and renovation, Wuhu Ancient City was reopened to the public on December 31, 2020.
