Lianhua Temple in Wuhan: A Spiritual Retreat by Tangxun Lake!

Located on Guanyin Island in Tangxun Lake, Jiangxia District, Lianhua Temple was originally built in 1693, during the 32nd year of the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty. The temple's architectural style is unique, with white exterior walls complemented by golden domes. The layered arches and exquisite reliefs seamlessly blend Eastern and Western architectural aesthetics, making visitors feel as if they are in an ancient European castle. Stepping into the Shanmen Hall, a sense of solemnity and reverence washes over you. Entering the main hall and side halls, you'll find flourishing incense and benevolent Buddha statues, inspiring awe and reverence. The Zanglong Island Greenway around the temple connects 24 replicas of famous bridges from around the world. Cycling along the greenway allows you to appreciate the exotic bridge scenery and capture the stunning sunset on Hudong Road. If you visit in spring, the roadside flowers are in full bloom, and the gentle breeze is incredibly pleasant.
