The Guqin Terrace, one of the three famous attractions in Wuhan (the other two are the Yellow Crane Tower and the Qingchuan Pavilion), has always been an overlooked presence, but it has recently made a comeback! The Guqin Terrace, also known as Boya Terrace, was originally built during the Northern Song Dynasty and was rebuilt at the beginning of the Jiaqing era of the Qing Dynasty. According to legend, during the Spring and Autumn Warring States period, the Chu state's zither master Yu Boya met the woodcutter Zhong Ziqi here, and the melody of 'High Mountains and Flowing Water' found its connoisseur. It harbors a profound cultural heritage of a thousand years and is known for the timeless zither melody 'High Mountains and Flowing Water'. Although the Guqin Terrace is not large in scale, it has a clear hierarchy, a delicate layout, and a quiet and elegant atmosphere, reminiscent of a classical garden. The garden is lush with trees and is always filled with the lingering sound of the guqin. Admission: Free, advance reservation through the Wuhan Culture and Tourism Code is required, or you can register on-site by scanning a QR code. Opening hours: Closed on Mondays, open from Tuesday to Sunday from 9:00 to 17:00, with no entry after 16:30. Attractions Guqin performances in the garden: There are 4 shows each open day, each lasting 15 minutes, at 9:30 and 10:30 in the morning and at 14:00 and 15:00 in the afternoon.!! There are not many spots available, so you need to reserve a listening ticket in advance on the 'Wuhan Culture and Tourism Code', and don't be late, as latecomers will not be allowed in. There are free stamps available in the park, with 12 different stamps located inside the Wuhan Municipal Workers' Movement Memorial Hall Management Center next to the exit.
