Fengwa Ancient Village

The Fengwa Ancient Village scenic area is located in Fenghuang Town, Xinzhou District, Wuhan City, 65 kilometers away from the central urban area of Wuhan. It is a culturally distinctive national 4A-level scenic area and has been featured in the CCTV program 'Beautiful China Countryside Journey'. In 2023, the 'Sky Street Night Painting Everlasting City' premiere attracted 40,000 people to check in. The scenic area covers an area of 3,325 acres, integrating ancient architecture display, folk experience, antique exchange, intangible cultural heritage inheritance, leisure vacation, national studies and health preservation, specialty food, and amusement interaction; it possesses the largest cluster of Ming and Qing ancient buildings in Central China and a group of themed specialty museums. The scenic area has unique and irreplaceable resources in traditional culture, ancient building intangible cultural heritage, and entrepreneurial inspiration. The scenic area has more than 20 Ming and Qing ancient buildings, including Xiangxi Building, National Studies Hall, Ceramic Workshop, Guo's Mansion, Tao Rui Imperial Physician, Brewery, Theater, Sijunzi Garden, Boya Pavilion, and Ziyun Pavilion. By condensing traditional architectural art and inheriting the essence of Chinese culture, Fengwa Ancient Village is committed to building itself into a base for the inheritance, demonstration, and experience of traditional Chinese culture.
