After visiting the Three Gorges Dam in Yichang, we stayed at the Great Wall Holiday Hotel, which is very close to the highway. We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel we chose blindly. The service was warm, the facilities were complete, and it was clean and hygienic. After a hearty breakfast the next morning, we set off! 1. Location: Wufeng International Ski Resort is located in Group 2, Maozhuang Village, Wantan Town, Wufeng Tujia Autonomous County, Yichang City, Hubei Province. 2. Altitude: The highest point of the ski resort is 2,129 meters above sea level, making it a rare high-altitude natural ski resort in southern China. 3. Ski slopes and facilities: Types of ski slopes: The ski resort has one intermediate, one beginner, and one practice ski slope, suitable for skiers of different levels. Snow Park: It also has a 20,000-square-meter snow park area, offering a variety of snow activities such as snowmobiles, bumper cars on ice, and snow rafts. 4. Ski services and facilities Ski service hall: Provides ski equipment rental, ski lessons, and other services. 5. Hotel accommodation: The Duling Yunding Hotel is only a few minutes' walk from the ski resort. The rooms are equipped with 24-hour hot water and underfloor heating, and offer 360-degree views of the mountain clouds. The wooden villas in the snow are like those in fairy tales, suitable for several families to stay together. After dinner, stepping on the thick snow, the creaking sound under your feet makes you want to take a few more steps. Watching the sunrise in the warm wooden house the next morning is absolutely beautiful! 6. Ski resort opening hours: The ski resort is usually open from December to March of the following year, and the daily opening hours are from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm (the latest entry time is 4:00 pm). 7. Ticket information: Ticket prices vary depending on the ski equipment. The ticket price for basic ski equipment starts at CNY 138, and the ticket price for a full set of ski equipment starts at CNY 248. 8. Transportation guide: Self-driving is recommended, and it takes about 3 hours to drive from Yichang. You can also choose to take the direct bus to the scenic area.
