Erddig Gardens

#mytraveldiary Erddig, near Wrexham, charmed me with its combination of stately home and lovely gardens. The walled gardens were peaceful, with orchards, flower beds, and pathways lined with neat hedges. Beyond the formal gardens, parkland stretched into the distance, perfect for gentle walks. The house itself was fascinating, known for its preserved servants’ quarters, but the gardens were my favorite part. There was a sense of timelessness in the orchards, where old apple trees still flourished. Erddig feels like a living memory of country estate life. #mytraveldiary
